You can embed a "Join Our Group" button on any HTML email on MemberPlanet. This is a great way to invite members to join and submit information for your membership database. If your membership is "approval only" (find this under group settings) members will still need to be approved before they are officially added to your member roster.
Follow these steps to add a "join our group" button to your emails:
- Click "Membership" on the navigation menu
- Click "Membership dashboard" from the sub-navigation menu
- Scroll to the bottom of the options and select "Create a Join Our Group button for your email campaigns"
- Select the button of your choice, or upload a different image, then click "Save & Close"
- Next Create your Email (Learn how On the "customization" step (step 3 of the email builder) place your cursor where you'd like the button to appear, then click use the toolbar to add "Buttons"
- A popup window will appear with a dropdown menu of button options you've previously created (enable popups in your browser if you don't see this new window)
- Select "New Member" option from the drowndown menu then click "go"
- Complete your email process and send!
